On Thursday this week the Raisin Cake boutique will be premiering in a Starbucks near you (well if you're in st.andrews that is.) Yep, those lovely folks at everyone's favourite place for coffee have invited us to be a part of their fair-trade evening. There's going to be a boutique full of raisin cake goodness, our very own high-quality butler service and live mannequins.

It's our very first outing and we can't wait! So come and meet us, have a coffe, eat some cake and sample the delights of the tastiest fair-trade clothing in st.a.

Welcome to raisincake.co.uk and Whoopie Pie, the raisin cake blog!

Just in case you’ve never sampled the baked delights of the Whoopie Pie here’s a low-down on this particular delicacy: Whoopie Pie is comprised of two round cakes that sandwich a creamy frosting centre. Interestingly enough it is sometimes alternatively known as a “gob”(which is why we decided to name our blog Whoopie Pie.)

We’d love you to contribute to Whoopie Pie so that it makes a tasty read. We’re particularly interested in anything related to clothing, design, baked goods, or st.andrews in general. But don’t worry too much about relevance, pretty much anything goes. We’d be especially excited if you’d like to write a “day in the life of a raisin cake” and tell us all the adventures you’ve had wearing your raisin cake apparel…remember photos always go down well too.
